L’hôtel Régence is near the SNCF station.
It is in the heart of the cavalerie quarter, a historical quarter whose developensent began in the 11th century. The hotel’s location allows visitors to see Arle’s monuments, museums and lively neighborhood’s on foot. This  neighborhood has also the memory of vincent Van Gogh who arrived in Arles in 1888. La maison jaune (the yellow house) where he lived and painted was actually located in Lamartine square. Visitors can find Lamartine square just a few meters from the hotel as they pass through the historic rampart of the city.
